WEDDING / LAUREN + CHRIS

For me, I wouldn't say Lauren and Chris's wedding day got off to the best start. Not an ideal start, with a dead car battery! Luckily I had left enough buffer time to be rescued by angel Nico from RACQ and make it to the first location in one piece with the Bride none the wiser (thank you discreet Bridesmaids!)

From there, the day vastly improved with a super chilled Groom and Bride. Despite a Bridal Party of 12 plus two 3 year olds and an over enthusiastic pooch, the vibe at both the Groom's camp and the Bride's was relaxed and ready. Both taking in every moment with their loved ones in great anticipation of the main event.

The scene was set in the beautiful gardens of Osteria, in Casuarina Northern NSW, and I couldn't wait for the ceremony to begin. The official proceedings were kicked off with an eruption of noise and clapping as the couple's four legged friend galloped through the guests straight to the awaiting Groom. Celebrant, Julia delivered a lovely and personal ceremony, sharing stories about the happy couple, with most involving their fur baby Billie who at this stage was trotting all about, jumping on guests and weaving through the Bridal Party with curiosity.

While some dread the Bridal Party portraits part of the day, this group of jokester Groomsmen and alluring Bridesmaids made sure the session was anything but dull, with belly hugging laughs, popping' bottles, seemingly arranged bathroom breaks + jovial antics.
